Update: MTG Doctor 10.6.13

In this release of MTG Doctor we have added the following:
  • New Deck Format:  Added support for CSV files for load and storing decks.
New Deck Format: As of this version of MTG Doctor you will be able to save and load files saved with the (.dcsv) extension. This is the MTG Doctor CSV format which you can then take and import into Excel or any other program. The format for DCSV files is: Card Amount, Card Name, Multiverse Id. Where sideboard entries are separated from the deck entries by an empty line ",,".

Note: In order to save your deck using this new format simply append the extension ".dcsv" at the end of the file name when saving your deck in MTG Doctor.

MTG Doctor recognizes .dcsv files when loading.

Update: MTG Doctor 10.6.12

In this release of MTG Doctor we have added the following:
  • Feature:  Offline Sets
  • Improvement: Fixed a couple of bugs with loading card images.

Offline Sets (Extras): As of this version of MTG Doctor you will be able to download all the card images for a given set and have them available even when you have no connectivity. This will allow you to create decks and reduce your data footprint. You may find this new feature under the Extras menu.

Note: Images will take space on your device so make sure that you have plenty of space available. MTG Doctor also allows you to clear a given set which will remove all downloaded images. This will allow for better management of the space and let you get rid of sets you no longer need in favor of ne ones.

Card images are downloaded on a set by set basis to allow full control of  what sets to keep.

When a set is already downloaded the action will change from "Download" to "Clear" thus allowing removal of the set if no longer wanted around.

Sets can be cleared to free up space and make room for newer sets.

You will find this new feature on the Extras menu.

Update: MTG Doctor 10.6.0

  • Hide/Unhide Collections Sets
  • Alternate Artwork
Hide/Unhide Collections Sets: As of this version of MTG Doctor you will be able to hide from the collections feature sets that you are not interested in keeping track of. Hiding a set will make it disappear from the sets list and allow the sets you are interested in tracking to show. Hidden sets are not gone forever, so if you ever want to keep track of that set simply hold down on the main collection information panel and select "Show Hidden Sets". This will cause all the sets to show including hidden sets.

Hidden sets can be displayed back on your list by selecting holding down on "My Collection" and selecting "Show Hidden Sets"

To remove all hidden sets from your collection view and only see the sets you are interested in tracking simply select "Hide Hidden Sets"

Collection view with a few sets hidden and not shown.

To hide a set, just hold down on the set panel and select "Hide Set" from the menu. If the option "Show Hidden Sets" is enabled the set will display hidden next to its name, otherwise it will go away.

Alternate Artwork: We have also added support for alternate artwork like that of lands to appear on your collections feature. These alternate artwork cards will display the collector number next to their name as in the case of lands. Older may display an additional name next to the card name such as "Mishra's Factory (Winter)".

Note: If you have already use the set that has the alternate artwork cards you will need to reload the set. See the how to reload the set below.

Alternate artwork for lands.

Reload Set: This new tool allows you to reload the set while keeping your collection information. This will allow us to include more changes in the future without affecting your collection tracked so far. In order to access it just hold down the set information header and select "Reload Set" from the menu.
Reload set allows you to load any missing card or add any new features we add without losing your collection tracking information.
